Urban Dictionary isn't exactly an official reference source.

Urban Dictionary is millimeters away from "fucking useless".

unless looking for disgusting sexual antics that probably less than 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the worlds population, since the first human showed up, have ever engaged in.
Case in Point:
Alabama Hot Pocket or glass bottom boat  if you are so tasteless as to want to know feel free to look it up but I will not post the link for you to do so.

Don't care.  I wouldn't have any confidence in UD to get even that right.  I looked up "milkshake" a few years back, just to see what that Kelis song is all about (i.e., "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard"), and there were about twenty completely different definitions listed.  Fuck Urban Dictionary and anybody who posts to it.

Whoa stePH,  Come down out of the tower with that sniper rifle.

I use UD to clarify references I hear on The Daily Show.

If you put on a mental filter for all the disgusting stuff, you can get a lot of funny out of UD -- especially the UD word of the day, which is never disgusting. (At least, I haven't found any disgusting ones.)

Now, I admit, I posted something that was a little icky -- the term "poop friend" to mean "a friend you're comfortable enough with to talk about pooping" -- but for the most part it's just fun. The problem is that sites like that are infested with 12-year-olds or people with that sense of humor.

Admittedly, I also have the sense of humor of a 12-year-old sometimes.

Wait, is "genre twist" a term of art that I'm not aware of?  Because the UD definition is indeed, pretty useless: a twist ending that occurs in a piece of genre fiction.  Big whoop.

Anyway, I think that TV Tropes (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TwistEnding) is a better source for the taxonomy of twist endings (among many other things.)

okay okay, UD sucks for the most part yes, but you have to admit this is funny (http://vagina.urbanup.com/1167161). (not gross)
