Title: Recommendations on audible?
Post by: zerocrossing on May 18, 2009, 10:10:54 PM
Hey,

I just sparked up an Audible account (via excapepod.org, of course) and I'm two books in and I really like it and I'm looking for recommendations.  I bought Neil Gaiman's Graveyard Book (really liked it) and Gibson's Pattern Recognition. (just started)

I mostly love Sci-fi, fantasy... has to be just right, and I love a good yarn spun by David Sedaris (listened to "When You Are Engulfed In Flames" while on vacation in Japan: special treat).  I'd love to hear recommendations of other books that might make my hour commute feel a bit shorter.

Mark

If you listen to David Sedaris, you have to give Sarah Vowel a shot.  They are both "This American Life" veterans.

World War Z is a must listen, even if you've read it.
