Title: subscriber area vs open season
Post by: Listener on June 02, 2009, 06:22:30 PM
I've been corresponding with the editor of Crossed Genres about submitting "The Clockwork Russian" to him. He suggested I send it as a novella (though, amusingly, I might have to make it longer), and that novellas published on CG appear in a password-protected area for subscribers to the magazine.

Here's the guidelines and pay info:

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to send it there or just hold it for now until I find a market that'll publish as-is, but what's your opinion on a paying market doing this? Would it be a good place to send the story? It is a paying market, which is a big plus.
