A friend runs a site for learning English in Korean, and I was considering making regular podcasts reading children's fiction.
I'd like to do something similar to EscapePod/Escape Artists and do modern content, and not classics (Goldilocks etc).
Where might I find writers or material?
Thanks!

I don't know if you're looking for something serialized, but might I humbly suggest The Unbelievable Origin of Superspiff and the Toothpick Kid (http://dk-thompson.com/category/podcasts/)? Not only children's fiction, but with splashes American culture! Well, superhero culture!
I'm a bit partial....

maxiewawa--have you decided to try this? I'd be interested how it turns out.
I'm curious if a kid's podcast would be popular--do enough kids have iPods to make it take off?

No, but enough parents have kids in the back of the car and want to play them something that isn't mind-numbingly stupid. thank god my kids like Car Talk, but that's only an hour a week. Decoder Ring Theater will be back on it's regular storylines soon, so that will help.
