Texting and driving PSA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ttNgZDZruI)

[person in PSA] deserved worse.
And here's another PSA like they didn't have when we were kids:
The Smart Choice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc3DPH5TXFM&feature=related)
Mod:Language edit. It's a PSA, and the person's a character that did something not that bright, but the character's a minor and you crossed the line.

... and another by the same people ...
Boys Can Wait (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwpqJ_ntRSU)

Stupid is as stupid does. I still think the character got off easy.
As for the language, I thought was rather mild. It's not like I used a four-letter synonym for "female genitalia". I used a word that hardly makes people blink when it gets spoken on television these days.
Back on topic, I wonder if there weren't ... if not PSAs ... cautionary films, like this when we were younger. A friend of mine who is twelve years my senior told me about a film he saw in high school driver's ed, called "Red Asphalt". Doing the math, this would have been around 1972-1974.
(and does nobody have a comment about Ms. Martinez' PSAs? ;D)

We had to watch some "gory" film in driver's ed, but it was more suggestive of gore, if I remember correctly. This one was really well done for shock value. The sound effect for the passenger's neck breaking was rather powerful, too.
-
From what friend told me, "Red Asphalt" was pretty graphic.
[edit]
It's on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Asphalt) and Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQfDB0d6cTI).
