Before it starts,  We have other threads with the arguments for and against healthcare reform and what it would mean to people in this situation.  If you want to comment on the general issue, please go to Gallimaufry and find one of those threads.  If you want to comment about the Robinsons, this is the right place.

they've lived in canada over thirty years, the healthcare debate is largely a spectator event up here.

i once ate dinner with them back when i was too young to appreciate it.  this is a little shocking to hear about.

Well this could very well add some gas on the fire for the folks that wanted to bash the Canadian system.  As far as I understood it, her care should be covered.  They must be trying some non-standard stuff or most of her doctors must have written her off already.

Spider is one of my all time favorite writers. I'm pretty sure I was weaned to readings of his works. It torments me to hear this his world is not going well. I've added a very small humble donation to their pile- as it's all I have to give except well wishes and positive thoughts
