Yes...I thought about that. It works equally well as both fantasy and horror.

I believe the video places the peanut butter in the chocolate.

It's a classic fairy tale. People don't realize how creepy kids tales used to be.
Though I would have appreciated it more if the animation style didn't make the real girl look quite so much like a doll in the first place.

I saw this a while ago, but I didn't realize it was a retelling. Does anyone know the name of the original fairy tale?

Pretty much all of them. There's any number of fairy tales about foolish children who were trapped by evil magic that lured them in by appearing as something they wanted. I'm fairly certain there was even one specifically about a hall of dolls. Couldn't recall the exact name, though.
