I was going to dig up the "Sci-fi Music" thread, but nerdcore isn't specifically sci-fi though it often goes there. For those not in the know, "nerdcore" is a genre of rap by white guys, about nerd subjects such as video games, comic books, Star Trek, and internet porn.
I finally got around to listening to Schäffer the Darklord's album The Mark of the Beast last weekend while tiling the shower (http://s426.photobucket.com/albums/pp343/Theta9/Shower%20Remodel/). It was on a DVDROM of music that a co-worker gave me months ago.
OMFG, I've been waiting all my life for rap like this and didn't even know it! I've gone looking for more artists in the past week, finding MC Frontalot, MC Lars, and Futuristic Sex Robotz, but my favorite is still STD; it just doesn't get more nerdcore than him... he doesn't even try to sound like most rappers (he doesn't even call himself "hip hop" or a "rapper", preferring to be labeled "the Rappist")

Anyway, I'm still liking the others I've found, even if not as much as STD. I've also watched the documentary Nerdcore Rising which NetFlix has available to Watch Instantly.
And I gotta give special mention to "Gangsta Nerdcore" group Futuristic Sex Robotz, whose album HOTEL CORAL ESSEX can be downloaded for free here. (http://futuristicsexrobotz.net/) Best song is easily "Back in the Day" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0HKHbJceAw) (and personally I don't care to listen to "Hey Ladies", "Dishwater", or "Empornium" ever again) but there's also "Positronic Pimp" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qar0unFwm2I) for you fans of Lt. Cmdr. Data, and "Don't Make Us Kick Your Ass" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oke-rTkB1jk) for Halo2 playas. And "WoW" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HR69zVmPb80), and "Back to the Future" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etGAMudQl8Q).

To be fair, its not specifically from "white guys." Though actually, I can't think of a single female nerdcore performer. That needs to change, someone get on that! :p
MC Frontalot is alot of fun live. Actually much better then he is in any of his recordings, IMHO.
There is also this fellow who goes by the stage name Devo Spice who is pretty funny. He has actually read for Escape Pod once. And apparently, after going to his website, he knows/has worked with a former supervisor of mine as well. That sound you hear is my head exploding...........weird.

On further consideration... why don't you step up?

I can't spin rhymes. My attempts are wack.
Couldn't even do it if it came with a FAQ.

Loads more to find out there. His website comes up with a google warning, so I don't know what's up with that, but these give an idea of what's out there.

I wonder who really does "MC Hawking". I downloaded A Brief History of Rhyme and particularly enjoy the track "Big Bizang".

Talia... there's also Betty Rebel, with Emergency Pizza Party (http://emergencypizzaparty.funky49.com/).

...and it turns out, the best female nerdcore rapper I've found is K-Flay (http://www.kflay.com/site/) who guested on The Digital Ganster LP (by MC Lars and YT Cracker). She's a damn sight better than Router or the girls in Emergency Pizza Party.
