Title: Best Horror Movie Ever Poll - Semifinal 2 of 2

The Shining will compete for #1 next week (I swear I have done nothing to sway this, except vote).  Against who, you ask?  Well, the winner of this week's poll, of course.

If last week was the battle of "The", this week is the battle of One Word Titles: Alien vs. Psycho (hmm, movie idea? nah).  I really don't have a good read on how this will go down.  What say you?

Love them both. Psycho has aged better than Alien.

"Alien" is way more evocative to me than "Psycho."  "Psycho" is a well-done instance of a very familiar story, but part of the joy in "Alien" was how much was left unexplained and implied (even if they did go back and explain it in FAR too much detail later on.)  I love a good example of atmospheric world-building (even in hard vacuum.)
