Title: In re PC122: I often drop a chunk in tea.
Post by: Gamercow on October 19, 2010, 07:41:01 PM
I have the same thing.  It's particularly strong in this one stretch of road about a hundred miles northwest of Charlotte (which is where I heard and was annoyed by "Now + N, Now - N" and with Splinterstone Valley in Loch Modan over in World of Warcraft, where the really annoying chain of Trogg quests was made easier by "The Dinner Game."

Oh goodie- I am so glad that someone else listens to EA stories while WoWing.

Off topic, but goddam your avatar makes my sweet tooth hungry, Maplesugar.  Remembrances of trips to Vermont when I was a kid.

I grew up in a forest of sugar maples.  In the spring the maple in front of my house would be wet with sweet sap running down its trunk.

Even tree bark is yummy, if you lick the right tree :)

volunteering at the maple sugar shack was my favorite "job" ever.

them: "Are you sure that you want to stand over that boiling pot and stir for hours on end?"
me: "I'm constantly smelling maple syrup and wood smoke.  No, I don't have a problem."

True.  I tend to try that second piece anyway, but my taste buds are still so overwhelmed the new piece doesn't register as much.  Much better if you space them out over time, wait until your mouth has had time to recover and then POW!

I often drop a chunk in tea.

I read this out of context and completely misinterpreted it.  :D

That's why it's so awesome. The best candies are the ones you only want a little of.

Can you believe that this topic got split off?  Maple candies are relevant to EVERY discussion.   ;)

JK, I love ya, Bill.   ;D

No biggie, we'd rather have to split a conversation than not have one.

You didn't fork them too bad.  I've seen them forked worse.  Some forking people just don't know when to stop forking, which isn't very knife of them.

Wow, you guys are hilarious. :D I waited to read this thread until I had listened to episode 122, so that I "would know what it was related to in the story"! Now, I'm sitting at my desk trying really hard to keep from cracking up. I don't need my co-workers thinking I'm even more silly then they already do!

Gosh, why not? I kinda thought that was a requirement of being a member here.
