Title: Echo Bazaar
Post by: Umbrageofsnow on February 14, 2011, 05:47:43 PM
I was wondering if anyone was playing Echo Bazaar?  It is a browser RPG with an interesting setting I can see appealing to the PodCastle and Pseudopod crowd.
Website Here (http://echobazaar.failbettergames.com)

My username is Umbrageofsnow, the same as here, and the main reason I'm asking is because I realized I don't have any friends  :'(
At least not any playing the game, and there is a small social aspect to it.  I figured this was the forum I'd been posting on the most recently, so if anyone is playing, post your name here, or just send me something in the game.  I'm a one-name guy, so my twitter (only used for this game) account is the same as my username, both here and there.

For those who are interested but not playing, it makes you log in using a twitter account for some reason, I guess because the developers use twitter to post all their updates and whatnot and it was an easy system for logins?  Anyway, I just created an account for the game only, you can have more than one twitter if you want.  You get a set amount of turn-per-day, which regenerate so that you can only use 10 at a time.  This prevents it killing all your time while you should be doing important things, and is a feature I appreciate.

I've only been playing for like a week or so, so I don't know everything, but I'd be happy to answer any questions I know the answer to for anyone even more clueless than I.  Basically I just want some friends so I can see how that side of the game works.

Quake Live (http://www.quakelive.com/#!home) is my browser-based game of choice.
