Just saw this last night. Brought me back to my childhood astronaut-wannabe days.
Worth watching for its sensitive characterisation, excellent music (Clint Mansell, oh my gosh!) and stunning visuals. This is one for us astronaut wannabes. And indie film lovers. However the plot degenerates into a standard conspiracy movie, and fails to tackle the actual science fiction questions. The other outstanding aspects make up for this lack, and I highly recommend this as a very enjoyable and immersive film.
I also did a critique of it, in comic format!

I adored this movie. It was one of my favorites of last year. Okay, I agree with all your points, but Sam Rockwell was so freaking great! I liked it much better than Duncan Jones's latest, Source Code, which I just saw today. (I think if you did a strip of the plot holes for that one, it would be a LOT longer.)

i adored this movie too...and really wanted to forgive it for its loopholes, but I couldnt resist making fun of it! Yes I will be doing an ongoing comic series to criticize other SF films, stories etc.
