Hey everyone, I just read this extremely helpful article (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/extra-punctuation/9604-How-to-Become-a-Game-Journalist) on video game writing. The writing advice is pretty good, and I thought some of you might get a chuckle out of it. Most of this is pretty cross-disciplinary.
In the unlikely event of being rejected, if the editor does provide you with feedback on your writing (as you have a right to expect) then it's vitally important that you then send an angry reply providing a butthurt counterpoint to every single one of their points. This is considered standard practice as editors (heavy drinkers as we have established) are always forgetting what actual quality is. Remember to also mention that the four people who comment on your blog think your writing is absolutely perfect.
