Title: Seeking name of a story based on content

Many years ago I read a story in which there was a night club whose floor show featured dead bodies hanging from wires on the stage.  When music played, electrical jolts made the bodies twitch in time to the music.

I've been trying for years to find out what this story was.

The only other thing I know is that this was just a minor part of the story; it just stuck in my mind because the concept was so bizarre.

It's "Dance Of The Dead" by Richard Matheson, which was adapted as a pretty lousy MASTERS OF HORROR episode, IIRC.

That is one of my favorite episodes from Masters of Horror. Very well done adaptation of the Matheson's story.

Well, I suppose it doesn't hurt that the adaptation was scripted by Matheson's son.  ;D
