If you are not a registered forum member, you will not be able to see the group boards.  Furthermore, if you have never posted to any thread, you will not be able to see the stories or vote.

Therefore, new members to our forums are encouraged to say hi either in this thread or over in the New Members thread (http://forum.escapeartists.net/index.php?topic=76.0).

Hello. Long time listener, first time poster and submitter. I can't express how thankful I am to be able to participate. For a new writer, this is a great opportunity. Honestly, I'm happy just to be motivated and writing. It's a win-win.
Now, to reason the ethical dilemma of voting or avoiding voting for oneself...

Welcome! As some of us discussed in the "Rules" thread, if you like your story, then vote for it. Your vote counts just as much as anyone else's and you have every right to support yourself.  ;)

Or even if you don't like your story.  It's not like anyone can verify your feelings towards your own work.  :)

Hello there! I'm the author of one of the stories and I cannot thank you enough for all the excellent feedback! And of course, I've been enjoying reading all the other stories. What a thrill to think I might be read aloud on Podcastle someday.
