Hi folks. We received a story query over at the Help Desk:
"I am trying to find the name and author of a story I heard about a box that was able to predict when someone was about to press a button. A light would always appear just before the button was pressed, and humanity was jarred by the question of free-will due to this box. Does it ring a bell to anyone here? Thank you for your time."
