Title: Regarding formatting and errors (Authors: please read)
Post by: Ocicat on July 04, 2017, 08:20:50 AM
I have re-formatted each story to be easily readable on the forums.  In general, this means a blank line between each paragraph or other line break.  I've removed indentation and tabs.  And there may be places where I missed where a line break should be, or inserted one where there should be none.  So voters, if you think the formatting is odd, the blame probably lies with me and not the author.  And remember, winning stories are meant to be read aloud on the podcast.  Formatting shouldn't be considered much when choosing which story to vote for.

Also, in the process of moving each story over, I had to reproduce all italics, underlines, etc by hand.  I may have missed some.  I almost certanly did.  Sorry.

Authors - if you don't like the way your story is formatted, or if you notice I missed the emphasis on a word, please send me a pm or an email at craig@escapeartist.net and tell me the name you submitted the story under, so that I can verify that you are the author.  I'll make the correction, and also post a note that a correction was made so that voters can re-peruse the story, and have an opportunity to change their votes.

If I noticed what appeared to be a misspelling or other simple error I did not correct it - I don't presume to know what the author intended.  However I may be willing to correct simple errors and misspellings that originated on your end.  If you would like a correction or change made to your story, either before or after it appears in a group, let me know.  I will not make substantive edits, but if it's just a word or two, I'll probably be willing.
