Title: The Fast Fiction Challenge
Post by: Alasdair5000 on September 29, 2007, 09:25:03 PM
Hi:)

Lee Barnett is an English writer who, every year, issues the Fast Fiction Challenge.  The rules, as he puts it, are simple:

A reminder of the challenge:

Reply with a title (maximum of four words) about which you'd like me to write a fast fiction of exactly 200 words, together with a single word you want me to include in the text of the tale.

(Completely daft suggestions will be ignored, so no suggestions of "antidisestablishmentarianism" along with a title of "sex lives of cornflakes".)

And the stories are great, really smart, tight little pieces of fiction.  The post in question is on his LJ account at:

And he's looking for new titles.  I would strongly recommend you check his stuff out and give him some new titles to play with.  He's a good egg and a great writer.

Also, feel free to promote this elsewhere.
