Hey, TDOR comes around every year, so now you know about it, you can show solidarity next time. We're always going to be a tiny minority, so we need all the allies we can get. :)
We've been in the news a bit here in the UK too, because the government is reviewing the Gender Recognition Act. This has brought a lot of transphobic groups out to level all sorts of daft accusations. Fortunately, noisy as they are, people who actually know us know better.
I could go on longer, but I don't want to pull politics onto the forum. Apart from anything else, and without outing anyone, I know I'm not the only trans in these parts, and nobody should feel in the least uncomfortable here ;)

BTW - I changed the date format in the topic title, just in case using UK shorthand confused anyone. I know the US equivalent sometimes confuses me. ;)
