I'm not a regular commenter on the board here, but I signed up so I could read the flash fiction contest entries, and I noticed that a couple other people had posted about new markets.
I'm working on a new zine called Yog's Notebook (yogsnotebook.com (http://yogsnotebook.com)), and we're looking for sf/fantasy/horror stories about what happens when people encounter the unexpected. I'd love to see submissions from Escape Pod fans. Details are on the website. We pay for accepted stories.
Thanks,
Audrey

Excellent! News of more paying markets is always, always welcome here. Let us know too when your first issue goes up -- I'll make a mention of it on EP.

With a name like that, I just HAD to submit one of my Lovecraftian tales ( for that read - style ripoff ).
Looking forward to my first official rejection!

... and here it is.
Dear [FNH]:
Thank you for submitting "Truth In Madness" to Yog's Notebook.
Unfortunately, it does not meet the needs of our publication at this
time. We wish you luck in placing your story elsewhere.
Sincerely,
Audrey Eschright and Lucas Grzybowski
Now thats cool!

Thanks everyone who submitted their work.
Issue 1 is now on sale at http://yogsnotebook.com/issue1.html (http://yogsnotebook.com/issue1.html). I'm really excited to see it in print. I think people will enjoy the stories we selected.
