Morning!
Right then, I'm doing a 31 part daily serial throughout October at jorvikgames.co.uk. It's called The Nostrum House Expedition and the first part is here:

It's a paranormal/horror series filtered through my brain. It's free. There are 31 parts of it. There will be banter, ornate English houses filled with terrible secrets, two female leads, one male lead, a whole lot of music references in the cpater titles and a very odd land rover. I really hope you like it. I really hope it doesn't kill me:)

Kinda.
I had a very, very clear idea of what I wanted to do (One of the central ideas has been running around my head for a VERY long time). The first 9 were done ahead of time, then...stuff intervened.
Woody, at Jorvik Games, got understandably a bit worried on the 6th when the entries he had ran out 24 hours later.
It's just coming up to the halfway point and I'm actually really glad that it's ended up working this way, simply because there are a couple of wrinkles that have been introduced with extra thinking time that I hope raise it a lot.

If the question is how much Al paid to be able to self-promote on the forums, the answer is that he pays in clever, introspective, pop-culture-referential remarks, and at the moment his balance is so far in the black I'm not sure how our accountant is ever going to catch up with him.

Wow, a real mind-bender this one.
Everything was going great 'till somewhere around the 28th or 29th. I think I had everything straight right up 'till Rat hopped the wall. After that it got weird!
Really a great story. I'm going have to go back and re-read it to make sure I got it all right.
