Podcastle Miniature 40: Incubus (http://podcastle.org/2009/10/30/podcastle-miniature-40-incubus/)
by Tim Pratt (http://www.timpratt.org/)
Read by Chris Reynaga (http://chris-reynaga.livejournal.com/)
Every forty or fifty years the incubus and the succubus got together to catch up. This time they met in a quiet little bar, and the incubus said, “Yeah, it’s been hard these past few years. I did porn for a while, but these days, with Viagra and everything, it doesn’t matter what kind of a woodsman you are, because anybody can pop a pill and perform superhuman feats of sexual prowess.”
The succubus nodded in sympathy, invisible serpents twining in her hair. “I hear you. There’s easy money in internet porn, but it’s no good for me, I miss the personal connection. But you can still do the gigolo thing, right?”
Rated R: It’s an incubus and a succubus. There will be S-E-X! (Or, at least, talk of sex)

I smiled. It's hard to really say anything negative about a story that took less time to hear than to load the page. Even if it was awful, it would be mercifully brief. This one was pleasant yet tiny, like the little chocolate mint on your hotel pillow.

Yep. Short and sweet. Love me some Tim Pratt even in tiny doses. :)

Very cute.

Didn't suck. :)

This is one of the few cases where "...and they lived happily ever after" actually worked for me. :)

I didn't hate it. It was so short there wasn't really room for plot or character or much of anything else. I got a laugh or two out of it, which isn't a bad result for something so short. An expansion of this into a longer story could be fun.

cute.
