Title: Spoiler Tags
Post by: fiveyearwinter on February 07, 2007, 01:55:55 PM
Is there any way the boards could implement a spoiler tag button? You know, the ones where you have to highlight it or press a button to see the text - you guys do a decent amount of reviews, and we discuss stories that people may not have read yet.

I like spoiler tags!

Good point!  I'll look to see if there's a plug-in for it.

I have found two spoiler tag modifications for SMF.
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=573
and
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=195

(actually I found three, but the third one apparently doesn't support SMF version 1.1.1)

I do not know which one is better.
The first one will show a 'quote' box in which the text has the same colour as the background.
The other one uses javascript to hide/unhide (is that even a word?) a box with text.
