Okay, I'm an IMDB junkie and a few weeks ago I bought 28 Weeks Later on Blu-Ray because I had 28 Days Later and really enjoyed both films...Anyway I got a wild hair and desided to do a search on IMDB. Look what I found: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1322885/
Should be interesting. I'm hoping to see France overrun with zombies...Maybe even a zombie mime (double the horror!)

Haha, picturing a zombie mime is awesome.
I can't wait. I loved both of those movies as well.
-
Really? I adored and own 28 days later, but I thought the sequel sucked - aside from the first 15 minutes or so, which scared the crap out of me.
I'm just not sure about another sequel. Hmmm.
-
I'm looking forward to the sixth sequel - 28 centuries later.
Or the third prequel, 28 seconds later.
(For what it's worth, haven't seen any of the films in this series - I don't watch zombie movies unless they're quite explicitly comedies)

Whyzzat?
(these aren't "real" zombie movies, anyway. And at least the first one is really really good).

Because - in film - I tend to enjoy horror only if it's mostly psychological horror, or if it is funny. Straight horror that's based mostly on violence and fighting for survival against a tangible threat just doesn't do much for me.

Then let me recommend a Japanese film called House. Made in the seventies I think; I saw it at a little theater here in Portland about a month ago. Has a similar vibe to Evil Dead 2 or the Chinese Ghost Story movies. My friend and I laughed ourselves silly watching it.

Both 28 films so far were great. I remember hearing an interview with Danny Boyle where he said something to the effect of, "with 28 Weeks Later I thought they'd crossed the line with the gore." I don't remember that much of a difference between the two!

Didn't Boyle produce 28 Weeks Later?
-
Yes he did.
