Title: Best Horror Movie Ever Poll - Quaterfinal 2 of 4

So The Shining won by a large margin over The Exorcist last week.  While I am happy with the outcome, I was surprized that The Exorcist didn't garner more votes.

I think I know how this weeks poll will go down, but I can always be surprized.

This doesn't seem an obvious choice to me at all!

I think Silence is the better film, but The Thing is really excellent horror, working on a visual and psychological levels, as well as being competent science fiction.

But ya, Hannibal.  He takes it anyway for me.
