The new sub-fora names are cute. But I notice there's not really any indication that one refers to Pseudopod, one to Podcastle, one to Escape Pod. Is there some way to work the actual titles in so that newcomers aren't completely baffled?

I am afraid that it looks mostly like Loki escaped PodCastle's dungeon and has been running amok on the web page. Glad someone mentioned this. I was wondering if the cats spiked my coffee. After a bit of gazing, it is possible to distinguish what is what but...

also, the escape pod and podcastle names appear to be inverted (tolkien/wands for escape pod and robots for podcastle)
love that they got switched up for today though 8)
edit: err, I mean, escape pod is the third instead of the first sub-fora now :-X

I wouldn't mind if the switch were permanent. :) The names are neat and just because it's April Fool's doesn't mean that the changes can't be longer term. Just a simple change like:
"Announcements and discussion of episodes"
to
"Announcements and discussion of Escape Pod episodes"
would do the trick. :)

yeah, I could definitely get used to them, they're very clever :D
I've always thought escape pod was first because it was, well, first. I was a bit confused, but no objections here to making any/all changes permanent :)

Me no likey. It's okay for a gag, but leaving them in place past today would be a bit much.

Don't worry, we'll only be changing all the names and board positions twice a week from here on out, with specific themes.
Next week's theme: Justin Bieber songs.

I am already on one board (http://z11.invisionfree.com/Shejidan/index.php?act=idx) whose forum headings are an example of the creator being too clever by half... figuring them out almost requires one to be intimately familiar with the works of C.J. Cherryh. I would hate for Escape Artists Inc. to go that route.
But again, I understand that this is just a gag for World Atheist's Day* :P
