Once upon a time I clicked on http://feeds.escapeartists.net/EscapePod which directed me to an xml link that I plopped into Microsoft Outlook on my work computer so I could get Escape Pod updates alongside my TPS reports at work. Unfortunately, I hadn't seen an update in December, but when I clicked on the above link it then directed me to http://escapepod.org/feed/ that showed there had been updates. I tried plopping http://escapepod.org/feed/ into Outlook but it hollered at me that it isn't a valid rss source.
Is the rss/xml broken? Do kids even rss anymore? Or are podcasts beamed directly into their brains? Any help with this sufficiently advanced technology (that I think might be magic) would be greatly appreciated.

I receive http://escapepod.org/feed/ in my Google Reader without difficulty. Today's episode came up when I logged in today.
It might be Outlook.

Thanks Listener. It was indeed Outlook. After some googling, I found that the latest update of Office that my employer pushed to the PCs made a registry edit that I had to go reverse. I don't advise people go make registry edits willy-nilly, but if anyone is seeing the same issue, then maybe take some care and try this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-outlook/outlook-cannot-process-the-rss-content-error/b1c8949c-c636-4075-a991-fb16ceb8ef26

You could try adding '?format=xml' to the end of the feed URL.
I.e.
Escape Pod:---escapepod.org/feed?format=xml
Pod Castle:----podcastle.org/feed/rss2?format=xml
Pseudo Pod: ----feeds.pseudopod.org/Pseudopod?format=xml
This works in Rhythmbox on Linux.
