I want to start a new group. Meet once a week on google plus.

There is a "secret" (to maintain first publication rights) crit group here! Ask to join the group <3

I've been thinking of joining a writers group, but people I know say that people there will try to make me feel like my work sucks and try and change it. The think that makes me really want to join a certain writers group is the fact that one of their members is a New York Times Bestselling Author. That really makes them look good. What do you think? Should I try it out?
