Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment, but I thought the new trailer for the animated Star Wars: Clone Wars thing looked kind of cool.
I found the currently available DVD somewhat shallow and disappointing. Kind of like the movies of Episodes 1-3.
Definitely shallow, although it seemed like the people behind it were having more fun that Lucas was with (at least) Episodes 1-2. Still, I remember it had some cool set-pieces. (Rain sizzling on Anakin's light saber was a nice visual.)
This is a new series, though, fully CGI'd, with the first four episodes or so getting a theatrical release this summer. I'm the first to admit that a CGI cartoon movie makes me feel...nervous. But I thought the trailer was interesting...
