Any three you like. The seven with the most votes will be in the End Game.
See the TEOTWAWKI thread in this forum. Or just read this:

The End Of The World As We Know It

Those of you with long memories will recall my lovely and overly popular Best SF book of all time thread. Harmless fun, you may say.

Well I've improved on the concept, and if anyone's game, I still am.

For those that didn't read the SF book thread, this is a game that works like this.
A list of items:

Item 1 (3)
Item 2 (3)
The numbers in the brackets represent points. Each turn you can take one point from one item and add one point to another. once an item reaches zero points, it is eliminated and cannot be resurrected. You can't post twice consecutively and you can't take more than one point at a time, nor add more than one point.

Example:

Global Warming (3)
Grey Goo (3)

Person A

Global Warming (2) -1
Grey Goo (4) +1

Person B

Global Warming (1) -1
Grey Goo (5) +1

Remember to copy the whole list each time, and you can add new entries if you like (with 3 points each) .

Last time it was SF books. This time it is likely candidates for the end of humanity/the world.

Let's see what you think.

Grey Goo (Nanotech) (3)
Global Warming (3)
Alien Invasion (3)
Nuclear weapons/war to end all wars (3)
Natural Diasasters (3)
Superplague (3)
Meteorite (3)
God/Jesus style end (3)
Death by Zombies (3)
Robots Attack (3)
Sun asplodes (3)
Ice Age Coming (3)

But yeah. We need to pick some.

Um... I can only vote for Death by Zombies once.

How do you fight a bully that can un-make history?

I guess I'm the only one who went for the Jesus/God thing (along with aliens and superplague).  I just think that the Jesus/God TEOTWAWKI will be completely different than popular opinion.

what about the disappearance of honey bees leading to the extinction of crops and the malnutrition of humans...
or does that fall under natural disasters?

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

do the great old ones count as an alien invasion? hardly seems fair, they were here first
gonna check the Jesus option but i'm really thinking of ragnarök
waking up in a btl would be a cool option as well

You edited the options on he poll without it wiping out the votes??  That's new.  It must have come with the upgrade Steve did a while back.

Poo, missed it, would have gone with superplague.

Oh, great and mighty Alasdair, Orator Maleficent, He of the Silvered Tongue, guide this humble fangirl past jumping up and down and squeeing upon hearing the greatness of Thy voice.
Oh mighty Mur the Magnificent. I am not worthy.

Nope, you missed phase 1.  Phase 2 is where we get all silly and the fastest posters win.

Or the people who are online at the same time as me  ;).

It's not really definitive, but again it's not meant to be, just a bit of fun.
