hello,

Does anyone know what the current average response time is for fiction submissions to Escape Pod? I read on the website that the podcast went on hiatus for a bit, but it's been several months since I sent my story and I've heard nothing from either it or the followup email I sent.

i would think there is a backlog of submitted stories, but i can't tell you any time span...

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

Duotrope reports: "Responses have been received for submissions sent as late as: 05 Jun 2008."  It also says there are 14 pending responses.  So, you're in company.

yeah, I checked the Black Hole as well and it seems like Escape Pod takes a while to respond. Guess I just need to be patient :-)
