Now, as probably everyone knows, the Turks have been churning out low-budget homages/rip-offs of popular western TV and movie products for years. I just recently finished watching SEYTAN, which is the Turkish version of THE EXORCIST. So here's something that purports to be a Turkish version of DR. WHO. I don't know...something smells fishy to me (the name of Dr. Hooey, for one), although for all I know the Turks just immediately understood that DR. WHO was inherently comedic.... if you think it's the poor effects, you haven't seen much Turkish film product. If it is real, it seems to be informed by Colin Baker-era DOCTOR WHO (what do you want to bet that The Doctor meets Beedeer fan-fic is being churned out as you read this?)
