I'd like to alert non-UK readers of the EP forums to the existence of
Jekyll. It's a modern interpretation of the
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde story, by regular
Dr Who writer Steven Moffat (Hugo award winner for "The Empty Child" / "The Doctor Dances", Hugo award nominee for "The Girl in the Fireplace", and a tenner says he'll be nominated again in 2008 for "Blink").
The pace has varied a bit (the first episode was quite slow as the characters were introduced, the third was edge-of-the-seat) but it's always tightly written, often funny, and James Nesbitt is hypnotically watchable in the dual title role. I'd recommend that you watch it via... whichever channel brings this sort of TV content to your screen. For my money, it's the best British TV SF since
Ultraviolet.
