After his accident Jesse Ramirez Jr was in hospital undergoing life support procedures.  His wife told doctors to stop feeding and hydrating him (that's the legal murder bit).  His other family members took the issue to court.

18 days after she tells the doctors to do it, later he wakes up ( and thats the foiled bit ).

Moral implications here?

A couple of links for you...

Much as I'd love to tackle the moral implications, I think it probably does.   :(

Which is unfortunate.

Hear my very very short story on The Drabblecast!

I didn't see anything about a living will.  Did he have one?

Life is a multiple choice test. Unfortunately, the answers are not provided.  You have to go and find them before picking the best one.

Yea.... lets not get into this... its just begging to become a fist fight.

Clarification: I hold nothing against FNH for making this thread.  I believe it would be an interesting discussion, and I understand that FNH didn't intend any malice by making this thread, but I feel like this will just result in a big argument, and it would be better if we just left this issue alone.

(if any of the other mods REALLY feel like this is an okay topic, we can discuss it in the Mods thread)

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?
