Michael Chabon makes me very happy. He edited some very good genre anthologies for McSweeney's. He came down to a Southern California teaching conference once after Summerland had come out, and I was the only one in line to get signatures.
He was very cool, though, and talked to me about the
X-Files episode with the golem and encouraged me to check out the original
Nightstalker series. (Hrm. Still have to look that up.)
I'm looking forward to giving this a listen
