This Sunday at 5pm, I’ll be performing a reading with my writer’s group at Vroman’s bookstore in Pasadena.

I was hoping to read both The Unbelievable Origin of Superspiff and the Toothpick Kid and “God-Shaped Box,” but have found out we’ll only have 15 minute slots, so I’ll probably have to choose.  Right now I’m leaning toward the former, because I don’t think there will be anything else funny read, but that could change.  Also, I will be handing out FREE audio CDs.

Others will be reading sailor noir, Armenian memoirs, Nancy Drew-type mysteries, and even some poetry.

If you can make it, I’d love to see you there!

That'd be awesome. Wished i could make it. Unfortunately, the commute is a little long (1895 miles... intesting, though: it's almost a straight shot west (Vroman's: 34° 8' latitude; My house: 34° 14' latitude).

Unfortunately, I won't be down there for work.  Good luck, though.

2,656 miles from me, so sorry I can't make it, but I hope it'll be a good reading.

I Twitter. I also occasionally blog on the Escape Pod blog, which if you're here you shouldn't have much trouble finding.

Is there a good quick reference for those? I've never found a satisfactory one for <shift><option> on the .

What does sexual orientation have to do with it?  :P

D'oh!!! Sorry about that!!

I'm not sure, but I think it depends on the font for that one. At any rate, <shift><option>k works to create  in this browser/forum/whatever. I used to have some kinda app that gave me a quick reference, but that was a long time ago, around OS 9 or earlier. Some font managers have one built in, too.
