Tor has recently revamped their website to be, as they put it, a "weblog, short fiction, art and discussion" site. It looks great so far, with short stories by the likes of John Scalzi and Charlie Stross.

As a bonus, for the next week, a number of ebooks will be available for free downloads. (I have Peter David's currently awaiting my attention on my desktop..). They were apparently giving them away over the past 6 months previous to the site's launch but I was oblivious. Authors like John Scalzi, Robert Charles Wilson, Jo Walton, David Drake, Harry Turtledove..

Anyway, both the new site and the e-book giveaway are very cool, worth a look.
Again I hope it doesnt come off as an ad, just thought this was a really spiffy thing Tor was doing.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through Sun of Suns that I downloaded from Tor.com and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. I'll probably buy the sequel, so the promotion seems to have worked, at least on me.
