The Large Hadron Collider was successfully tested in Geneva.

There was no boom.

So... what are the warning signs of a black hole?
I mean, suppose there was a sub-atomic black hole stuck in out gravitational field that was not 'evaporating' like Hawking said. In fact it is already in the earth, sucking in matter, growing by the second. Do you really think they'd tell us?

I gather they have got the engine to turn over and rev it up (metaphorically speaking) but have not put it in gear to go anywhere yet. Collisions begin a month later.
