November 20 is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Events are taking place all over the world to remember those killed in acts of transphobic hatred. Please take a moment to remember this years victims. :'(

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to see your post last month.  Transgender rights are in the news over here in Canada. From my public broadcaster:

...and...

Sincerely,
Scuba Man.

I'm a stand-up philosopher until 2024. Then, I move onto my next gig. I'm a gentleman forester and farmer. I also enjoy jumping into Lake Huron and panicking the fish.

Hey, TDOR comes around every year, so now you know about it, you can show solidarity next time. We're always going to be a tiny minority, so we need all the allies we can get. :)

We've been in the news a bit here in the UK too, because the government is reviewing the Gender Recognition Act. This has brought a lot of transphobic groups out to level all sorts of daft accusations. Fortunately, noisy as they are, people who actually know us know better.

I could go on longer, but I don't want to pull politics onto the forum. Apart from anything else, and without outing anyone, I know I'm not the only trans in these parts, and nobody should feel in the least uncomfortable here ;)

BTW - I changed the date format in the topic title, just in case using UK shorthand confused anyone. I know the US equivalent sometimes confuses me. ;)
