By request I'm starting a thread of Amazon links.

Put up links to all the things you want or have just gotten and think someone else might like.  All of the links will be altered to include the Escape Artist ID.  If you see something you want and want to donate to EP, just click the link and buy.

So, I just put links up like this:

Wii Remote
Wii Nunchuck

And you make them into magic supports-EP links?

Moderator: Yup, that's the way it works.

Cool.  Done.

Everybody, follow the inspiring example of Mr. Tweedy and put your Amazon stuff here!  You can donate without it costing you a penny.  Have your cake and eat it!  Participate in the astounding paradox of being cheap and generous with the same click!

As far as I know, we only have a .com code, but I'll ask Steve.  If we had a .de code, EP would have already made a bundle off of me, because I buy a ton of stuff off of Amazon.de and I'd use the code for every purchase.

A couple of the books we've talked about in the forums:

A couple of accessories for my camera.
Pentax Remote Control F

I hate flash pictures, but I somehow ended up with quite a collection. I don't know which of these I want.

from what ive heard about the amazon links, the donation only goes to EP when you buy something after clicking the link.  if you click the link to the item, if you buy that item (and maybe anything else via browsing) amazon will give EP some money for advertising.

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

I've started adding links for amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk.  Seems to work, but we won't be fully sure until Amazon sends Steve some money for a UK or DE link.

Just setting up a paying link for the GPS navigation system I'm picking up for myself.  Unfortunately it's only available in Europe.

Dirty-Pair-Strike-Again-2

I just got to reading The Great Adventure of the Dirty Pair a few days ago and right about the same time got an email from Amazon that this one is now translated and available.

I'd really like to collect the rest of the Adam Warren comic books, which by far outshine any other Dirty Pair media (movie, anime or novel), but the only one available from Amazon and not from third-party sellers is Sim Hell which I already have.

Moderator: converted link.

The book that is featured in this weeks Pseudopod sounded very interesting, so could you please add the Escapeartist-ID to the first book of the series (on amazon.de)

Generally I think it would be a good idea to incorporate amazon.de/amazon.co.uk links in the episode comment post if the episode is sponsored by a book launch.

Traveling to the States means exchange rate shopping spree.  I thought I'd throw a little money EA's way while I was at it.

Friendly plastics - Just like Shapelock except I don't have to deal with thier crappy website.  It's a nylon based plastic that becomes soft in hot water, but then is hard again at room temperature.

Weller WESD51 soldering station - Tired of using crappy equiptment

CDs:
Soundtrack - Across the Universe
Dar Williams - Promised Land
Joan Osbourne - Little Wild Ones
Joan Osbourne - Breakfast in Bed

Electronics:
Sony ECM-DS70P microphone - Something small I can carry all of the time.
Arduino Duemilanove Starter Kit
Shure E2c-n Sound Isolating Earphones

Books:
Getting Started with Arduino

done for now.

Haven't worked out how to do the fancy link thing but  just bought http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/reader/1600102379/ref=sib_dp_pt#reader-link

Arduino Duemilanove Starter Kit

What's the chance that security goes f-ing nuts when I try to go through with this?  Has anyone tried flying with circuit boards and wires in their carry-on.  I try to carry-on everything that might need an explanation.  I can always picture the homeland security looking in my checked luggage and saying, "I don't know.  Looks a little dodgy.  Take it out back and blow it up."
