Damn, I forgot about Independence Day.  Did someone nominate that?  That one really made me mad.  Dear Hollywood, please stop designing space aliens with elongated heads.  I'm lookin' at you too, Speilberg.  Thank you.

Good one.  When Pullman gives that corny speech in which he says "this will be out independence day"  I amost puked out all my Dots.   The heroic Randy Quaid cropduster charachter was ridiculous.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.    -  Carl Sagan

I don't want to get off topic, we should be slamming Batman and Robin, but how about uploading a computer virus to the mothership?  "Oh, crap.  The aliens already upgraded to Vista.  It's going to be a real bitch to get our XP machine into their network."

This kind of dialogue is always a bad sign
"Don't sit on this freezing floor, you'll catch a cold."
"Wait, what did you say?"
"I said the floor was freezing."
"No, the other thing."
"That you'll catch a cold?"
"Yes.  That's it.  We'll give them a computer virus."

Who talks like this?

But they used a mac - and everyone knows that macintoshes are magic...

Independence Day has been added to group c.  You'll be able to blast it as much as you want there.

I'm open to two more nominees if they are really bad and deserve to be in.

Well, I would say "Stop or My Mom Will Shoot" might be one of the worst films ever made, but if we've got to stay semi-genre, I would go with "Leonard Part 6" or "The Adventures of Pluto Nash".  Maybe both.

Nobody said anything about genre.  Pick one and post it in the nominations thread.  Let's try to keep this thread on the topic of Group A.
