Hey, folks. Started listening recently and enjoy. But when comparing more recently recorded episodes to the older episodes (first couple dozen anyway), it seems like newer podcasts aren’t recorded as well. Newer recordings are often tinnier sounding, like on a laptop mic or in the bathroom with slight echo. Compression distortion is also noticeable. The older podcasts seem to be using better studio mics or whatnot and have higher fidelity.

The Thames Valley Catastrophe is a good example, compare it to Bag Man and you’ll hear the difference. Alasdair’s mic/studio in general could use an upgrade.
