I'm a stand-up philosopher until 2024. Then, I move onto my next gig. I'm a gentleman forester and farmer. I also enjoy jumping into Lake Huron and panicking the fish.

I was regrouting my bathroom shower stall while this was playing. It was an engrossing tale that had me stopping a lot while I chipped away nastiness! My thoughts...
Spoiler
(click to show/hide)
-- I would have shot the tiger with a taser. Full stop. I know the point of the story was fair turnaround; however, its a f**king apex predator in the room!
-- I was catching myself siding with Valentine, the corporation's defense lawyer. The leader of this corporation was despicable, yes. Did it warant the modified-lawyers' desire to kill and eat the kid?
-- the modified lawyer is now guilty of murder. Premeditated murder. Was it worth it... for the sake of a ruined planet?
-- the pathetic lawyer, got in touch with his inner predatory giant cat. It does not make him a better lawyer. It made him into a predator.
-- If the author hadn't had him kill and rip apart the corporation's CEO, it would have been more believable {{?}} outcome. I think it would have been better if the tiger-lawyer caused the sniveling CEO to soil and urinate himself, that would have been a better plot.
-- Why did the judge award anything to the refuges from the broken planet? Was it because the tiger-lawyer ate the defendant?! I don't understand that logic.
Despite my comments
, I enjoyed this tale. As I love cats (
and am really glad my house panthers are smaller than me
).

I also enjoyed this weirdness a lot. I didn't have any problems with the plot because my disbelief was completely suspended. I mean, the guy transferred his conscience to a tiger!
The only problem I had is that it's very predictable (the content warning adds to that), or maybe it's just not interested on making any surprises.
I just wanna go pro before AI takes over and the bot dogs from Boston Dynamics kill us all.

I completely agree with Scuba Man. On every single point. I also enjoyed the telling of the story, but the ending did not work for me because of all of Scuba Man's points.
