Make sure you pull up your profile on your birthday.   There is a little slice of birthday cake with a candle in it next to your age.   It makes a tough day a little easier to handle.   :)

A tough day?

Any day when you're encouraged to eat cake until you're sick is a good day, in my opinion.

Plus, people give you books and movies!

A mysterious (and large) box has appeared in my foyer.

I have been admonished not to touch it until such time as I am told to do so by my spouse/business manager/boss.

That has made it sinister, also.

So, I wait for my 2nd 18th birthday to arrive, and surreptitiously brush my fingers across it when I leave for work every morning.

Four days to go...

Is it blue?

I Twitter. I also occasionally blog on the Escape Pod blog, which if you're here you shouldn't have much trouble finding.

No... that would be the ox.

Or were you referring to the blue box of happiness?

I'm guessing he meant something like this:

Wow, a birthday present that is bigger on the inside.

When will all the rhetorical questions end?

...and full to the top with doots, if it's anything like my house.   >:(

Looks like it is the forum's favorite four-fingered member's birthday today.  What's on the birthday list, some industrial strength pixie dust?

LOL! Well, the plans were to see Indy and the KotCS at midnight this morning... but this sleepy little town didn't give me the option, so we're gonna go see it tonight. Said sleepy little town also doesn't have industrial strength pixie dust outlets. I'm waiting for the economic stimulus check to come in to bid on some from e-Bay.

Happy birthday, Birdless!  Let us know how KotCS is.  Even though we'll all end up seeing it anyway  ;)

Sorry to interrupt there, but has anyone actually seen it yet? Is it any good?
