Has anyone ordered from Devils Due publishing before?
Did you have any problems?

Three weeks ago I ordered Hack/Slash Omnibus Vol. 1 from their website and received the usual auto-replies and conformations. Three days later the funds were withdrawn from my account.
One week went by with out a word, so I wrote to their customer service. No reply.
Another week went by and I wrote their customer service (via their website) and e-mailed them directly. I got an auto reply saying my order status was now "Shipped".
At the end of the third week (Friday) I was still comic-less and wrote again. Not even an auto-reply this time.
I'm terribly disappointed in their customer service.

That's a real shame.  Bear in mind this is circumstantial, but I had enough orders turned around or held in limbo when I ran a store to suspect, strongly, that the book's dropped out of print and their website hasn't caught it.  If you can, I'd get the funds back and order it elsewhere.
Failing that, check their forums and ask the admins there, odds are they'll have some email addresses for real people.  Failing that, I'd try and dig up email addresses for the editors of some of their titles (Or the guy who writes Hack/Slash come to think about it).  Should be listed in the books.  Failing THAT, PM me, and I'll see if I can dig up something else for you.

Great ideas. In fact I precognitively took your advice of writing the author. His reply was prompt and helpful, saying:
"Eh? Lemme make sure they send this out!!!
-TIM SEELEY"

I hope this will be enough to grease the engine, but if I don't hear something in the next day or two I'm going to start mailing everyone I can get my hands on.

I gots mah komix!

Friday (the 27th) I got a note in my mailbox that I had a package to pick up at the post office, that this was my final notice, and if I didn't pick it up by the 30th, it would be sent back. At it turns out my comics have been waiting for pickup since the 9th, and my mail carrier just got around to letting me know. This isn't the first problem we've had with him, and we let the postmaster know.
I've sent Devil's Due an e-mail letting them know I did get it.
I feel like an ass for having gotten upset at them over this. Thought their customer service seems to be lacking, the did ship my order in a more-or-less timely fashion (two weeks).
