Thanks to aforementioned group, I am now the proud owner of 30 years of Analog magazine, dating from the 70's through 90's. I am swooning with glee. My car is chock full of magazines.
They are in perfect shape, and labeled and ordered by date. The guy obviously loved his collection a lot, just didn't have space for it. This is a real treasure.
I'm particularly interested in reading the science articles from 30 years ago. That should prove pretty interesting
Anyway, no real point to this thread other than me being ecstatic about my new possessions. The first issue I picked up seems promising; it starts with an editorial by David Brin.
SO glad I subscribed to freecycle. You never know what you'll find.
