I finally got around to watching Primer today.  Twice.

I still don't know what's going on in the last twenty minutes, except that there's apparently multiple iterations of Aaron.  I have no idea what the function of the "failsafe" box is, or what happened with Thomas Granger.

PS: Who came up with that diagram?  It wasn't Shane Carruth, was it?  I'm not sure how much weight I would give it coming from anybody else.

No, it wasn't Mr Carruth. However, as someone who followed along with that timeline the third time I watched Primer, I can assure you that it makes sense.

Of course, if anyone knows of a better timeline, I'd love to see it.

That entire movie makes my brain hurt... but it is one of my favorites. Low-tech sci-fi makes me smile. And I like the piano soundtrack too.

One of my flat out favourite movies.

I had to watch it seven times to begin to get it and I'm still not there but it's an astounding piece of work.

Wow, I just watched it myself, and while I can get that there's something to get there, I am not at all ready to start pulling on any strand of that spaghetti.

it helps if you realize going in that soon after they discover what the machine does, you are not seeing the original timeline any more.  I need to printout this guide tho, and watch it again...

Can someone please make more $10,000.00 movies that make me think and have nothing blowing up?
