I've found actual evidence that the "Impossible Dreams" universe exists!  A trailer for The Incal has fallen through a rift between the continua and landed on YouTube!

This is the Heavy Metal movie that we should have had; not that crappy anthology nor the F.A.K.K. 2 atrocity.

Though the latter did contain the wonderful line "What do you mean, you can't find them?  How do you lose a six foot bitch and a talking rock?"

Follow-up: After nearly three years of owning only the first two books, I have finally ordered an affordable copy of The Incal 3, and hope to have it within a week or two.  Finally I get to read the rest of it!

I haven't anticipated the end of a saga this much since the wait between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
