Wanted a place to discuss the stories themselves here, rather than the technical aspects of the Clonepod readings ...

Where are the kids from?  I thought Japan when listening to the first story, but in the second I note that they're touring the USA and that "Tam Suji" is apparently from the USA.  How do they come to be a "Power Rangers" sort of group?
Or am I getting ahead of where Mr. DeRego is leading the over-arching narrative?

Kitty's story pretty much told us they were all Americans.

Jeff has only given us the American part of the Unionverse so far.  We had a discussion some where about what the rest of the world is like, but I don't remember the outcome of the discussion and I'm too tired to go looking.

They are all from the USA. They are a "power rangers" sort of group to exploit the child/young teen demographic of comic buyers. They are modeled on anime/manga type characters because those are very popular with this age group. The books borrow from Shojo Manga storylines, targeted at young female readers, while the live-action show is more boy oriented. This spreads their popularity across both genders, and while more girls tend to show up at their public appearances, boys tend to buy more toys (at least that's how I structured it in the stories).

Jim Jaguar (A luminary) and Miss Jennifer, put the team together to raise capital, and test whether a team could be trusted to function outside the existing Union structure.

Hope that answers some of your questions guys and gals.

I'll have to read the copy Mr. DeRego sent.  I apparently missed a lot of details in the audio.

With luck you won't have to wait that much longer.
