Also, with not having to sacrifice nine or ten hours five days a week, I'd probably have time to get back into music, getting back my skills at keyboard and bass, finally developing some skills on the Stick, and composing interesting music with no commercial potential.
Wow, the Stick is amazing! Just based on the two videos showing how it works, I would think you could make very interesting music, commercial potential or not.
I actually sprung for the model with the MIDI pickup on the melody strings, though I later found out that it meant I had to buy a Roland guitar synth unit in order to use it. I thought I could just run a standard MIDI cable to any synth, BUT NO!

Here it is, December 29, 2000 when I picked it up at my mom's house (where I had it shipped; wasn't comfortable having it left on my condo doorstep).
